<aside> 💬 As an accomplished software engineer with over fifteen years of experience, my main focus is mobile development (Android and iOS), back-end programming and AI. My vast experience in the IT area (since 2008) has allowed me to work on web, mobile, desktop and embedded projects. This has helped me develop a deep understanding of the complexities of systems development and deliver consistently expert results to clients. Currently, I am a Professor and Researcher at the Federal Institute of Ceara (IFCE) whose performance plays a fundamental role in people's development. As a teacher, I teach subjects related to computing (programming, database, OS, software engineering). In the research area, I work as coordinator, technical leader and researcher on projects, where I carried out computational studies for three specific areas: precision agriculture, medicine and transport engineering.
In the engineering area, I am a doctoral student and make scientific contributions in Deep Learning and Computer Vision aiming to improve the condition of roads and traffic.

Highway-AI: DETECTION OF DEFECTS IN ROAD PAVEMENTS ✅️ Computer Vision Use Case
Intelligent system (AI and computer vision) developed for the web platform with the aim of presenting inventory information in a graphical interface, which can also serve as support in decision making by researchers, engineers, analysts and technicians in the area of pavement management for future surveys. Classification was carried out based on algorithm learning in order to automate the detection of defects in the pavement.

VEHICLE TRACKING AND COUNTING USING DEEP LEARNING ✅️ Computer Vision Use Case
This project is a technology that enables real-time monitoring and analysis of traffic volume. It uses computer vision algorithms and cameras to accurately detect, track and count vehicles, providing valuable data for road traffic purposes. I recorded this video in the Washington Soares Avenue in my city. This is an intersection of the avenue that connects the south side and the east side of the city of Fortaleza in the state of Ceará (Brazil).
